Social Compliance Statement
R.J. Liebe respects human rights and compliance with
all local labor laws. We commit ourselves to ethical
practices and attest to our standards of business conduct.
Our code of conduct provides every employee what he
or she is entitled to, including respect for basic rights,
proper pay and benefits, safe and healthy employment,
appropriate hours of work and treatment characterized
by dignity and respect. R.J. Liebe shares this commitment
with many of its affiliates.
R.J. Liebe and its partners share a commitment to the
promotion of the best practices and continuous improvement
in:
- Occupational health and safety, compensation, hours
of work and benefits.
- Minimizing our impact on the environment.
- Management practices that recognize the dignity
of the individual, the rights of free association
and collective bargaining, and the right to a workplace
free of harassment, abuse or corporal punishment.
- The principle that decisions on hiring, salary,
benefits, advancement, termination or retirement are
based solely on the ability of an individual to do
the job.

Company certifies the following:
- No forced prison labor, indentured, bonded or otherwise
is used in any of its facilities.
- We do not employ any person below the age of 16
to produce apparel, accessories or equipment.
- We pay our employees at least minimum wage, or the
prevailing industry wage, whichever is higher.
- We comply with all provisions for legally mandated
benefits, including but not limited to housing, meals,
transportation, and other allowances, health care,
child care, sick leave, emergency leave, pregnancy,
and menstrual leave; vacation, religious, bereavement
and holiday leave; and contributions for social security,
life, health, worker's compensation and other insurance.
- We comply with legally mandated work hours, use
overtime only when employees are fully compensated
according to local law; informs the employee at the
time of hiring is mandatory overtime is a condition
of employment; and on a regularly scheduled basis,
provides one day off in seven, and requires no more
than 60 hours of work per week, or complies with local
limits if they are lower.
- We have written health and safety guidelines, including
those applying to employee residential facilities,
where applicable. Our indoor air quality standards
equal or exceed those mandated by the U.S. Occupational
Health and Safety Administration. (OSHA)
- We comply with applicable country environmental
regulations and other policies based on the concept
on continuous improvement in processes and programs
to reduce the impact in the environment.
- We maintain on file such documentation needed to
demonstrate compliance with this Code of Conduct
